How to manage your ATLAS cluster

Note: This article is for LOW.MS customers that have an ATLAS cluster with us.

After ordering your cluster, your master server will be instantly created on a temporary 1x1 map. Currently, the rest of your cluster will be set-up manually by LOW.MS staff but we will soon be automating this process. This manual process generally takes us about 1-2 hours from when you order, but longer during busy times.

Once your cluster is setup, you'll have in your control panel additional "ATLAS Cluster Slave" servers. Your ServerGrid will be set up depending on how many servers you ordered, e.g. you'll have a 3x3 server grid with 8 additional servers + the main server. It is important to note that your main server is where you manage your ServerGrid.json (Map) settings.

Please ensure you start your master server before starting your cluster servers. If you get a "PID 0" error on any of your cluster servers, ensure your master server is running and then simply restart the cluster server.

Editing ServerGrid.json
When editing your ServerGrid.json on the master server, please ensure you know what you are doing. Wrongly set settings can cause errors within your cluster and/or map.
Edit the ServerGrid.json on your master server only. Once you have finished editing it, you need to sync it with your cluster. To do this, on your main server click the "Sync ServerGrid" button. Wait for it to complete. Once it has completed, click the same button on each of your cluster servers.

Editing GameUserSettings.ini
If you would like the same harvesting/taming/etc multipliers across your cluster, you simply need to edit the GameUserSettings.ini on your master server, and then use the "Sync Game Settings" button. The same process as above with the ServerGrid.json, making sure to then click the same button on each of your cluster servers. Order your Atlas server now here
