How to enable crossplay in Space Engineers

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, there are a couple of things you should be aware of before enabling crossplay.

1. In Crossplay-Mode, only mods that do not execute scripts at the user can be loaded. (look for Xbox friendly mods)

2. Only a maximum of 3 planets are allowed, if you have more you will need to make a new world. This can be done by renaming the world being loaded to a name not in use. I.e.

    <WorldName>YourWorld</WorldName> would become <WorldName>YourWorld2</WorldName>

This can be done in the config file.

To enable crossplay, you will need to navigate to your configuration files, and hit the "configuration editor" button to the right of your config file. There will be a checkbox to enable crossplay.

OR

You can enable crossplay manually by adding the lines to your SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg:

<ConsoleCompatibility>true</ConsoleCompatibility>

<NetworkType>eos</NetworkType>
